The special thing about our property is that although it is so near to the city center, it preserves the atmosphere of inner Buda, giving our guests an authentic feel.

After opening our Hostel, we accomplished a long term goal by creating a little jewel box, reflecting the bohemian feel of the 1920s, and modern lifes necessities.

Budapest's best sights are lying just minutes away from our property.

Our property is situated at the foot of the famous Buda Castle region, 5 minute walk from Margit island, and just a minute away from underground station, the River Danube enbankement and other major bus and tram services.

You can also view our rich collection of antiques, with the option to bargain and buy. Whether on a business trip, or just pleasure, alone, with family or with friends the most important thing for us is to give you a home feel, while in Budapest.

Since we are a guest house, we offer a quiet cozy atmosphere.

Please notice, that the single private ensuite room is room with bed on the gallery.
The Standard Double Bed Private Ensuite is private appartman.
Every 2 rooms has one large shared bathroom.

Getting there:

From train station(Budapest Keleti):
Take red line M2 from station to Battyhanyi tér( 5 stops ) When you get out of the station, walk straight with the church to your left ( the name of the street is Markovits Iván utca).
At the end of the street, you will see a green bank(OTP Bank). Turn right and our property is at the corener.(red building with the vegetarian restaurant in the front)
15 minutes on metro and 5 minutes walking.
Cost is 290 HUF( a little over 1 USD)

From Airport:
Take airport shuttle (average cost is 1500-2000 HUF and 40 minutes travel time)
Take red 200E bus untill Kőbánya-Kispest Vá.(3 stops). Take the blue M3 line untill Deák Ferenc tér, change line- M2 to Battyhanyi tér.

Once you arrive, please call us on the door or go to the vegetarian restaurant. We will come get you right away. If possible, please notify us of your arrival time.
