I was looking for a charming hotel. A place with the feel of pre-EU Slovakia: behind the Iron Curtain. This hotel was the perfect place. Spies, writers, philosophers, dreamers, and so on could all have stayed there. The room overlooked a beautifully landscaped courtyard with a wide variety of trees and a gazebo. Early in the morning, the sun streamed into the room. The breakfast was highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and has a good level of English.

Two very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception and with smiles on their faces. A really huge room with everything you need and with a recently renovated bathub that I unfortunately couldn't use due to lack of time :-( Next time :-)
