We liked our room and breakfast buffet. The area was also safe during daytime and close to some important touristic spots. The staff was also very helpful, in general.

A very lovely hotel within walking distance of many attractions in Recoleta. Quiet area, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, shopping. Very large room with comfortable bed and great breakfast. Enjoyed a massage at the hotel and the staff arranged rides to and from airport, as well as currency exchange. Everyone was very helpful.

Breakfasts offered a wide range of choices and they were well managed with items being replenished regularly. The hotel is simple in concept but the rooms are spacious and well equipped with a pleasant bathroom arrangement. This is a high quality 3 star hotel unpretentious but well manged in an excellent location. No hesitation in recommending it.

I enjoyed my stay at the Blank Hotel. I stayed in the Buenos Aires Suite, which had a jacuzzi, good AC and a good bed, as well as a large balcony. The staff varied in style and I don't speak Spanish so that probably has an impact too - but Barbara was always helpful in English if there was anything she could do for me, and always pleasant and on top of things. The breakfast could have been better, but as I'm not much of a breakfast person anyway, that didn't put me off. I was there for about a week, but used the breakfast buffet only one day, and it was pretty boring stuff. So those who are responsible for breakfast should perhaps do a little brainstorming. Good location and you can walk to most things, at least in Recoleta. Apparently there was a spa in the hotel too, but I didn't try it. I had enough to rest after six crazy weeks in Rio, and explore Recoleta's many great opportunities. If you think you are booking a luxury hotel, and go in with that expectation, you will probably be disappointed. But if you go in expecting help and tips from the staff (Barbara, if you don't know Spanish), a comfortable room (if you book the Buenos Aires suite) and a nice location - then you will be very satisfied. I come from a rich European small country, so I'm probably not the right person to judge the price level - but, I think that if you come from a European country, you think that it's a decent price in relation to what you get.
