Ryokan Overview

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Free Wi-Fi is offered in the public area, and parking is available for free.

The fine print
Dinner for the dinner-inclusive rate is a Japanese-style full-course meal with 12 dishes including roasted beef as the main dish. Guests who prefer to have horse sashimi instead of roasted beef must contact the property at least 1 day prior to the check-in date.
Please note that if dinner is requested on the day of check-in, a half-course meal with 8 dishes will be served.

Excellent facilities and very friendly staff. Walking distance to town. Comfortable and clean room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Good sized single beds. This is one of the best ryokans we have stayed - very good price quality.

The staff were very helpful and English wasn't an issue. They ensured we were comfortable and happily picked up from the bus station. The service was the best we received in Kurokawa. The room was also very well fitted and comfortable, and the private dining rooms were great.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ryokan Wakaba. The ryokan staff were so lovely and the care with which they helped when my daughter lost her travel journal was exceptional. The dinner and breakfast, served in a lovely private room, were amazing - so delicious! Our traditional Japanese room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent - we sampled a private bath as a family which was perfect for my shy daughter. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Everything was great! The staff was amazing. The food was magical. And the onsen was so relaxing! I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone who wishes to have an authentic experience.
