We love Queenstown, so much to do. Reavers lodge is an easy walk from town. It is comfortable, but the building is noisy with squeaky floors and doors. This is budget accommodation but has a good vibe. My stay was in autumn just as the town was closing its summer activities.

Bed was good, the door handle to the room needed some work, etc. Overall my expectations was a backpackers resort and I was pleased for value for money. I thought the bathroom was a little snug for my 6"3 frame but overall I dealt with it as the accomodation was the cheaper side of things. The cooking facilities were fine I had no issues. Staff were friendly and helpful when required. The steep walk to the lodge was challenging but overall It's Queenstown and access is always going to be hilly. So no issues, already planning my next year at Reavers Lodge and I will request a Couch this time instead of bunk beds.

very nice view, quite good location, Queenstown is not too big. The room was big and had everything we needed for the stay. Huge plus was the included breakfast!!

The roof is very close to the bed, so it was hard to move around, and the ladder is very steep to get to it. The mattress was 2 singles put together, so laying in the middle was quite uncomfortable, but the mattress themselves were ok. The photos on Booking.com make the room seem a lot bigger than it is, but it is still a good size room for 2! Value for money is okay considering how expensive other places are in Queenstown and the location is perfect walking distance to the centre!

Everything I needed. Comfy room, good location (on the hill, view fab) good price. Will I stay again ? - Yes :) Very small thing, I wish the bar could be open all year round, not just winter. It would have been nice to debrief re: adventures over a drink with other travellers.
