Where to begin?! We were fortunate enough to spend the last 4 nights of our South Africa trip here. After leaving Cape Town, the Log Cabin was just the tranquil oasis we needed. The property is so truly stunning and the scenery is breathtaking. We spent our time here either exploring the local vineyards or relaxing by the pool and on the grounds. We dined at their restaurant a few times which did not disappoint - beware, the Braai is delicious but make sure you go in hungry! The staff were always so accommodating and always on hand to help with a smile. The place feels just like a home away from home, with such a welcoming atmosphere; even more so by the two dogs and cat roaming the property, which made it a bit easier being away from our dog! I would highly recommend the Log Cabin Lodge to anyone visiting the Stellenbosch area. If we are ever visiting again we will be sure to be back.

The Log Cabin is a hidden gem. The service was great! The staff were warm and friendly, the setting was stunning, and it was excellent value for money.

Peaceful with friendly welcoming staff. Food is good and beautifully presented. Well situated. Have many extra amenities ( sun cream, chargers, well stocked honesty bar, anti mosquito plug etc)

We stayed in the Log Cabin for two nights, and it was absolutely beautiful. The views over the gardens and mountains were breathtaking, making it the perfect peaceful escape. The cabin itself was stunning - comfortable bed, great WiFi, and a lovely, tranquil pool area. We were lucky enough to experience a Braai night, which was delicious, and also had dinner there on our second night - both meals were fantastic. The breakfasts were equally amazing! Ubers were easy to order, making it convenient to get around, including for our Wine Tram tour. We only wish we had one more day just to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings! If you’re visiting, we’d recommend spending one day on a wine tour and another just enjoying this incredible place. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the Log Cabin Lodge. Deon the chef, prepared such amazing food for us and we enjoyed every part of it. Also the breakfast the next morning was excellent and overall, it was just 10/10! Overall, it was just an astonishing place and we for sure come back!

Very friendly, super helpful and great all round. Would certainly recommend. So much food and delicious breakfast. Amazingly comfortable sun beds and cushions - great pool and gardens. Everything you could ask for. Beautiful wine estate.
